What we collect, and why
- Checkout details. When you buy a Report or Fix Pack, our checkout provider (Gumroad) collects your payment information and the business details we ask for: business name, trade, town and state, business phone, street address, website, real business hours, and whether you take after-hours emergency calls. Those business details are the yardstick your audit is fact-checked against. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs the checkout itself, including your payment data — we never see or store your full card number.
- Free-check requests. The request form on our homepage collects your business name, trade, town and state, optional website, and your email address, so we can run your free check and send you the result. If you tick the optional box, we'll also send one practical AI-visibility tip a month; you can unsubscribe anytime.
- Field Mode. The /field tool runs entirely in your own browser. Anything typed or pasted there stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
- Basic site logs. Our host (Vercel) keeps standard technical logs of page visits (such as IP address and browser type) to operate and secure the site.
How we use it
Only to run your checks, produce and deliver your report or Fix Pack, send your free-check result, provide your included re-check, and answer your emails. The business facts you give us are never published — reports are delivered privately to the business they describe. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the providers named above, only as needed to operate checkout and hosting.
Your choices
Email admin@namedornot.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about your business, or to opt out of any email. We'll honor deletion requests for our own records; checkout records held by Gumroad are subject to Gumroad's policy and legal retention requirements.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects information already collected, we'll note the change on this page with a new date.
